They say, the blacker the berry. . .

Poem Artwork

seeing you unexpectedly reminds me

of my very first time. . .

our lips spritz'd moist emotions,

the tips of our tongues tingled for attention,

we awakened one another's undeveloped clusters

that begged to be exposed

and untuck'd from in between

our budding adolescent vineyards. . .

and we twisted our vines, hybriding each others experience

OH never NO never will i forget the feeling of

you, my husbandman

filling me to my golden brim

, and you, intoxicating me with

full bodied anglowine, and submerging you

'neath the surface of my underaged blackberri nectar. . .

a taste that never left you

since your very first time

My goodness, Cynth'ya... this is filled to the brim with poetic savorings.. alliteration that rolls off the tongue, personifications that linger, and a life lesson so excrutiatingly tender... Sigh... this is how it's done! "our lips spritz'd" is tickly and perfect! I just loved this one... and you write with the voice of that tender age... wonderful work! katy xox.
