Too bad that there are

so many folks out there. . .

thinkin' that they serve a dead Jesus. . .

a Jesus that hangs on a plastic mold of  a tree

not the Jesus I see!

 I see a Jesus that wants me to

finger-pop in the groove like it's Motown Night at the club;

hop on the balls of my high heel'd feet like I just hit "red" in a hot game of roulette,

clap my hands and do that outmoded wave as if the Pacers didn't have to go home in the playoffs,

run around the house all out of breath and excited as if the Florida Election Board admitted it made TWO mistakes!

that's how I think Jesus ought to be praised,

and guess what else, sportsfans. . .

if Hell wasn't already on fire I'd torch the place myself,

then I'd plead the fifth 'cause the devil ain't done me NO favors;

and ain't no shame riskin' being labeled an

Existential

Anti-establishment

Out of yo' mysterious mind human being who believes in

one God, clings to

one Truth, who knows the

ONLY contract she needs to abide by is

NOT some super-glued laminated ceremonial

"because-they-said-so"

credo. . .

and who knows for her OWN self the power of being a spiritually orgasmic Jesus-lover who broke all traditions, kept his focus, and made a whole lotta politicans mad as hell

who claim to be "the word of God"

 in matters of souls that did not belong to them.

so yeah, I dare you ask me to proclaim that it ain't worth losin' my soul over some self-serving man or woman who thinks he or she knows my direction better than me.

Religion ain't worth

frownin' over,

drillin' oil over, or

spillin' blood over. . .  but e-VENT-tually,

we ALL end up gettin' planted in the same topsoil

called "MOTHER Earth"

where our bodies will lie silent,

and where the current spirit in hiding 

can't help to party ALL eternity long.

So party UP at my funeral! Please baby please

PARTAY YUP Y'ALL, &

Give a shout out HOLY! HOLY! 'cause I don' know ONE fool for Jesus who wants to go to a well-behaved Heaven. . . where none of us are  forced to wear any clothes.
