note the panting afterglow of Red River Canyon

observe and absorb Oceanic View;

sing with birds of prey as they chant warless love calls within Yosemite's pines;

scoop up handfuls of souvenir feathers from Mercury's ankles as they fluttered down to Grand Canyon's creases . . .from his last sabatical;

watch untold stories levitate out of Blue Ridge lonliness;

then chisel your initials at the top of the world as you ride your private one-way motorcar to Heaven

Can't find anything pessamistic here. Great images, especially the feathers from Mercury's ankles. The Mercury story has always facinated me and I am not all that much on mythology. Good write.
