essence in the groove

Baby can you name that tune?

- coming together with you means
- experiencing the total syncopation
- of rapid staccatos,
-
- writhing in the allegro of your cadence,
-
- grinding the legato of your thighs against my own
- like a thick neck'd tight bass viola groaning
- in transcendental
-
- "Ohm-m-m-m" with a rough throaty cornet. . .
-
- and from head to toe, from largo to accelerando,
- we recalibrate the metronome of passion in the making, first in mezzo forte, and then in a breathy pianissimo, with slits of moonbeams penetrating
- our satin sheet music,
- and then we contend towards a grand finale, groovin' all up into each other,
- we rewrite the lyrics of an old love song
- in the aria of rhythms in the night
- and wail until dawn on electric dipp'd jazz.
