* * * * * * * * * * * * * *

Saul remember'd the time
he persecut'd free speech,
put fetters on the truth

but it took divine mysterious ways when
my God knock'd him on the ground from
a four-legg'd ass, landing him on his own,
was struck down like a tree
in order for him to See The Light,
he had a change of heart,
a change of name and most of all,
had a change of thinking

David remember'd the time
he persecut'd a family
lust'd after his own soldier's wife
sinn'd and kill'd to cover his tracks
and an infant fell sick, lost his life because
his seed was found'd on money sex and power
not helping others. . . .
David's family fell
was struck down like a tree
for again it took Divine Mysterious Ways
in order fro him to See The Light
and in the midst of a
political and moral storm,
my God brought David to his knees,
had a change of thinking

AMERICA. . .
built upon love of money and blood,
built upon a foundation of a stolen people
built upon coveting others' blessings
now sells the Arabian rug of security
in the name of the corporate W,
(with more supercenters soon to open
in a downziz'd city near you)

Oh My AMERICA:
we watching our people die for lack of abilty
to keep themselves healthy. . .
we watch others starve while the rich
beg for the poor to give to a fund they
need to be providing for their own,

when the people cannot work, they cannot eat,
they cannot feel special like the One True God
Who intended them to feel. . .
 
so let the words of this sassy poetic
prophecy sharpen our first amendment
Axe of Common Cause 
poet warriors gift'd with Spoken Word,

let us downpour the roots of this
political illicitness to flush out
all that is not good for our nation's
need for greed, let us write and
swing an axe of

TRUTH. . . for our children
WISDOM. . . thru our elders
PATIENCE. . . in our decisions
PRAYER. . . to rid us of all vice
UNDERSTANDING. . .to show love
RESPECT. . . to show humility
POWER. . . without arrogance

for every Tree of Humanity
not root'd in the Truth of God
shall be up-root'd; its core
and X-out all of the rotten, 
and the idyllic who behind
our blood-bought freedom
will no longer be in position
and soon we will all
SEE THE LIGHT
