telling on myself

The bio pic of myself makes me realize just how good God has been. Now if the hearing stays in place and I stop putting my eyeglasses in my key case and trying to grab my keys everytime I read a book (Hey, I'm jokin' here. . . I happen to know exactly what I'm talking about at all times of the. . . .hey, what day is this?)
Smiles, and sharing the Day God Made Me. love, cynth'ya

My wacky friend Ella, (whom I love dearly) sent me the weirdest birthday remembrance. After reading it I wasn't sure if I should laugh or fold up in a fetal position and weep until my gray hair stops popping up on my chin. (Those hairs are the darndest to pluck out!)
But at least I'll celebrate like a woman my age and write the weirdest poem I ever wrote (not counting the one when I was on Vicodin in 1999 after donating my uterus to science. That drug will have you totally out to lunch so I flushed it down the toilet. Lord knows I sure didn't need that baby attic anyway, my husband knockin' off the cobwebs and all.) So here we go. . . with a really weird poem:Stay up late, wake up and dance
Medicate or walk in trance
Email check the notes online
Read good luck forwards one more time
Put on some deodorant
to not smell like an elephant
Brush remaining teeth in mouth
Check degrees of boobs gone south
Decide on breakfast soon to dine,
Just make mine cheesecake everytime
Hang the phone on all "unknowns"
Bathroom visits to the throne
Make rude noise when home alone
And write myself weird birthday poem
So when it comes to dates of birth
as years have turned a page
I say long live all boomers
who refuse to feel their age.cynth'ya lewis reed
