your vocal tone may ice me over,
your attitude may freeze me numb,
your bitter chill may leave me strand'd
in places where hope can't belong;
slick nature'd you steer me asunder,
perplex'd in a dry icy burn,
and often it leaves me to wonder,
if Springtime will ever returnyet Hope of a chance Restoration,
keeps my roots from sustaining your freeze
for God is controlling my nature,
in my trials as His warm air I breathe. © 2006 cynth'ya lewis reed

The graphic; the perfectly metered poetry; thaws a frozen heart with love toward the end...exceptionally penned, well done, my friend! Reminds me of Alaska............
