In times like these, we must put our faith on overtime

Winds of Change storm in,
snatch away our best of times,
never knocking on life's doors
whistling in our ears. . .

Hear us now Old Earth,
Never ask our whereabouts,
Destiny obeys my will
Every creature bends. . .

we must shield their blows
anchor our foundation firm
brave the stinging consequence
'til the rainbow smiles

Excellent poetic way of saying into each life some rain must fall, but this too shall pass, if we wait long enough. Very nice poem, Cynth'ya -- I feel that way a lot, myself.

powerful little piece..."never ask our whereabouts" is not so clear to me cause it's the Old Earth (beautiful) who is referred to...still, it's motivational the not knocking is also excellent cheers
