Making pathways in the failure of the fog
Ever stretching past the barbs of naysaying nonbelievers,
Risking all for something that was never done before
Interweaving multiple foundations of old faith
Carrying loads of other precious daughters of the dust,
Acknowledging wisdom of elders in their hearts
Noting right from wrong, and moving on. . . .
Work is never a task, but a step to a higher plane
Obstacles naturally challenge our desire to move on,
Maybe dreams are really meant for children, we say;
Even when struggling in the middle of a project
None-the-less, they climb, still moving on. . . .
Energy comes from the champion's heartbeat
Newness runs swiftly with imagination's wings
Tirelessly and timely somehow things just come together
Ruling status quo looks up at the crystal ceiling broken
Eager to share these women show care
Power regenerates the tongue of experience
Reaping far more than they ever knew they could plant
Especially when everyone around them ignor'd their course
Nevermore will the cries go unnotic'd by the crowd
Executive management must bow its masculine knee
Usher in the era of a day not known before
