mystical freak of the week
does weird death-defying feats
as his onlookers teeter
from the edge of their seats

such is not to be witness'd
by the faint or heart
or the weak-knee'd and meek
this stuff is wild, not fit for viewing
by any impressionable child,

his gaze and strange manners
light up Vegas banners
yet with your permission
he disturbs calm conditions
this. . . this mystic freak of the week
whom the world truly loves,
but if worldly folk love you,
are you pleasing the one
up in Heaven above?

In my opinion I think he is a nut whom is getting rich from people across the US who could be putting their hard earned money to better use! Our youth of today are exposed to this and other types of entertainment that encourages similar behavior! So many of our youth are not given guidance and explanations of why you shouldn't or the risks involved...and people want to know what's wrong with our teens of today! The scary thing is the teens of tomorrow! Great write my friend!

Agreeable. I've seen this 'phenom' even driving a movie star's car while he's blindfolded. If it's pure talent, who gave it to him?

GAD. I've seen this guy on TV, he scares me. And people look up to him...powerfully penned warning, Cynth'ya, to avoid the darkness and look toward the TRUE light.

I have watched the "Mind Freak" and he does do some really unexplainable stuff. Not quite sure what to make of him. Great write about hin though. You captured him perfectly.
