watch your mouth!for those who shrink back
content to settle in the dark corners of
"I'm fat-I'm sick-I'm broke"
always get their wishes of woefulness--
for their heart has spoken
it into existence.
so scale your mountain!dare your scars to bleed
as you make your way up
from your dry'd up lifestream,
stop tripping over molehills
in the Valley of Drooping Lips
get your Carpe Diem on,
sing a psalm of victory
even when the battle seems
out of your control;
cling to the words! of Brotha Booker The Peanut Prophet:
do a common thing
in a MOST uncommon way. . .
for you are the maker, not
the mold. . . you are the one
who does the speaking, not the
wallflower behind the wall . . .
you are the amazement of all
that has never been done before
and since the next minute is not
promised, get yourself in check,
or your abundance will surely
leave you abandon'd
in the cesspool of your moans. . .
as strangers stake their claim
to your God ordain'd answer
that you question while you
pray for change to come.

Guilty....:(
Guilty as charged. Comfortable? No. Just don't see a way out, except for prayer: thanks for the much needed kick in the pants. :) Well done!
