If any president speaks, then he/she is accountable for ALL, not some, ALL of their words without excuse. For the sake of intelligent voter community discussions-- we all need to see if anything has changed for the better for ALL of us in the past 2 years for the majority of Americans socially, economically, educationally and for our elderly. (When talking "discussions" it doesn't mean "circus fights" like they have on FOX "Rumors"... but "factual unopinionated discussions!")
Let's all ask ourselves: "What the past 8 years have done for our families and our communities...and what do we want for ourselves as a nation of free voting people?"
For those who believe in prayer based on facts, the next president should be someone who can relate and get respect from the entire leadership of the world who represents all of us, not just a few of us.
Biblically, there will never be peace in the middle east. It just doesn't happen for those who call themselves Christians. Terrorism is in our own back yard...dare I mention the Willie Lynch letters and domestic violence. as part of our own nation's "morality."
We know we are not alone, and we cannot neglect how our decisions ripple effect on the rest of this planet. People being cared for don't shoot the ones who care for them. People being respected don't despise their governments. The golden rule applies to every nation. Let's start applying it at home, and stop the political games that the media wants us to take part in. Look at the facts as a whole, think of our nation as a whole (not Republican or Democratic) and let's stop making excuses to not go to the polls. Your vote does make a difference, even if you feel it does not.
All Americans matter, not just a specially selected few. Again, note that this poem is under the heading of "philosophy" which is not meant to please anyone in particular...it pleases the muse in me, and hopefully causes people to think.

These are published facts, not my opinion. And this is not an opinion forum....it's a poem. One comment had to be removed. As a result I was accused of being a censor. Well, I'll take that. Everyone isn't supposed to like me. If they did, I'd run the other way. Because I have made it up in my OWN mind that am not going to stir up discension when we should all be looking for peaceful solutions, not one party accusing another.
So if anyone wishes to post or state opinions about how they feel about the government dealings affecting us all, there's this thing calls the opinion editorial section of your local newspaper not to mention various talk shows all over the nation. The writing of my poem is meant to heal, not divide. If people don't like what they hear--let me put it this way: If a minister has a son who is a thief and won't quit stealing, is the minister right for not contiually bringing it up to the son?
Let the record show the facts--and let the facts stand up against what the truth has revealed...it ain't pretty, but we all have to deal with it because every single decision affect our kids futures as well as our own. Maybe that's why nothing we buy at Walmart is made in America anymore. Regardless of party, people who are elected need to CARE about this country, not special facets, not particular financial campaign contributors', but ALL of us because what hurts one part of our nation sticks around for a long long time.
So, in keeping with what I learned a long time ago from my relatives, "If you want to hide something from somebody, write it in a book, because most people refuse to think and read the facts for themselves."
America needs to teach our children the importance of reading, and not jumping to the comfort of our own opinions. Matters not if people like what I say. . . what matters most is "what are we going to do once we learn the truth" and that applies to everything in our lives, not just political matters.
