why is there such a dense expanse
of gloom in the human room;
and why does no one seem2the
be brave enough2point out
that those who pretend2see
are in essense illegally blind
to a once upon a time
nation that was actually kind?

why do we tolerate such
thick cold attitudes of demons
pretending to be leaders
who are nothing more than a
succubus in a congressional suit
or a long black robe hiding a necktie
that converts to a noose, 
designed to strangle our freedom song 
that we once joyfully performed 
with reckless abandon, b4 the
adversaries of Truth Justice & Liberty
decided2care more4dollar bills
instead of our community ills?

who has a scant of total recall
of how our minds used2have
a crazy hot love for human compassion?
Now our hearts are as dry
as the tit of a starving cow
whose calf who absolutely refuses
to LET IT GO!!!

Why now let the baby out of the cage,
because the mother's breasts are bursting.
And if this poem makes no sense2U
then perhaps it was never meant4U
because those who refuse2see
with their minds eye more than likely 
will eventually be forced off the freedom road
into do-it-yourself red ditches while
trying to administer snake-pit politics.
and I feel for those who have been
bitten, yet 4got how2suck the poison out.
