A NEW BEGINNING
She was a northern girl,
down for just a short stay.
He lived there,,,,
but, they were both ready to play.
She was younger than him,
but, he’d been with younger.
She had great passion,
and he,,,, a burning hunger.
“What happens in Mexico,
stays in Mexico,” says she.
“My name’s Jose” he says,
“would you take a ride with me?”
She carried a burden.
He had lived beyond his.
She wasn’t ready for him,
not everyone is.
They connected it seemed,
of course, they were both beyond ready.
If it had have been 30 years earlier
he’d have asked her to go steady.
She left him there,
after some passionate kisses,
knowing now what it was,
that his lonely life misses.
He had fantasized about her,
in his house all alone.
He wished she’d come back,
turn his house into a home.
Life still could be fun,
he was now convinced.
He now looks for someone
who’ll turn him into her prince.
