Morning Kiss

Soft and warm are morning kisses As we lay here in our bed Snuggling close beneath the covers Your arm resting beneath my head Close beside me touching softly Gently stirring me to wake waiting for my eyes to flutter releasing me from dreamlike state Upon my neck your breath I feel As gentle lips begin to trace An outline moving oh so slowly upwards till it greets my face Together bundled in love's blanket We herald in this new born day Sharing in a stolen moment Before we go our separate way Our souls entwined in sweet surrender As morning casts her sultry hue I'm thankful for this time we've had To share a morning kiss or two Poety by Kassanna Kassanna's Poetic Dreams (Deborah M.
