PEER GYNT - MORNING

This is the morning to wake up in,
this is the morning to take the boat,
this is the fjord to live beside,
this is music to greet the day,
this is music to send fishermen
on their way.

Always loved to play that piece of Music on the piano and organ. It is one of my favorites and glad you honored it here in a poem.

Kenny, me ol fruit, how's you?! Still appreciating the finer notes in life, transposing the minor keys into major works of poetic music that play across our minds and hearts with such lightness of touch. Your vocal chords take us as easily on A Slow Boat To China as they do A Walk In The Black Forest - but I hope you'll return to these homeland shores by 2012 so that you can come Dorset-way and enjoy some Olympic sailing! :)) Be well, Cosimo.
