Let us go before the daylight
Falls into the crystal sea
And revel within the delight
Of all that this world can be
Let us breathe the stirring figments
That caress the life within
As the landscapes’ wondrous pigments
Paint themselves upon the skin.

Let us go before the stars come
To the fields where children play
And see all that we can become
When our love shows us the way
Let us feel the moonbeams’ pleasure
Permeate the evening sky
With beauty nothing could measure
Beyond the most sacred sigh.

Let us go before the sunrise
To the river by the wood
And, at last, with hope in our eyes
Join our hearts, as just we could
This pathway, so long neglected
May not be without its bends
But, we’ll scale the unexpected
As lifelong lovers and friends.
