True Miracle

by Jill Eisnaugle — Read all 611 poems by Jill Eisnaugle

A poem about the miracles we are given when we place our trust in the Lord's Divine Power.

Poem Artwork

Each day is a true miracle
From dawn to dark of night
A gift, far from satirical
We seize with all our might
The morning sun begins anew
In dreams we long to see
But only when our faith is true
Will our goals come to be.

The roads that we embark upon
Each moment that we live
Are paved with goodness, early on
By what the Lord shall give
To those of us who seek His Word
And confide in His Trust
To prove our dreams are always heard
For His Command is Just.

Each day is a true miracle
From dawn to dark of night
A gift, far from satirical
Within His Holy Light
The morning sun begins anew
To find our hope restored
But only when our faith is true
Shall we reap gifts from the Lord.

Jill,

Every day that we wake up, every day that we stop and think on what He's done for us, His many blessings, is a miracle. Thank you for your beautifully inspired, inspiring words this evening. :) Well done!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

What a nice, truthful, passionate piece of poetry about His bountiful goodness, the Shephard that He is.
