She sleeps upon the stairway
She eats both day and night
She strolls across the fairway
To wreck a golf delight
She chases wayward field mice
She taunts the bluebirds, too
She adores when toys entice
Especially, if they are new
She purrs and coos contented
To show her owner love
Even when they are demented
By feathers of a dove
There is a certain aspect
To our dear furball brats
That deserves our loyal respect
For the lifestyle of cats.
