May this sacred day be cherished
Like the Sunday, long before
When our Savior Who had perished
Rose to greet the crowds once more
The angels summoned His Arrival
As a blessing come to earth –
A true miracle unrivaled
Was that of Our Lord’s Rebirth.
On that bright morn, the doves
returned
And Mary’s tears were dried
The moment that the stone unturned
Revealed to all, worldwide
The greatest marvel ever found
Within that empty grave
A sight so wondrous and profound
For those whose lives He Saved.
May this sacred day be cherished
Like the Sunday, long removed
When our Savior Who had perished
Rose to greet the crowds He Moved
Through the most precious appearance
Of a miracle we’ll find
That we’ll honor with adherence
Every Easter for mankind.
