When burdens are too great to bear
And hope-filled signs seem few
An angel will be waiting there
To bring calmness to you
This angel may not be the sight
You thought you would perceive
Yet, ‘til your soul beams with delight
The angel will not leave.
The angel’s warmth provides a glow
That rests within the heart
And stays so you will always know
Your joy plays a key part
In every pathway that this world
Shall pave for all to stride
And every shrine that is unfurled
Upon the ebbing tide.
When darker times arrive at dawn
To shield the rich sun rays
And you find that your strength has gone
Within the cloudy haze
An angel will rest by your side
Down every road you roam
And be your friend, your force, your guide
Until you’re safe at home.

Beautiful, inspiring words today; thank you! Definately saving this one. Many of the angels reside at Author's Den. :)
