Whenever wind blows ‘cross the field
Or sunny beams shine bright
My gratitude shall be revealed
Within each ray of light
And in each wayward memory
Along the paths we stride
For it is my true destiny
To be here by your side.

Whenever autumn colors glow
Or winter snowflakes fly
My gratefulness shall serve to grow
As each season rolls by
Within your presence, I feel peace
That cannot be denied –
A sacred bond that shall not cease
While I am by your side.

Whenever doves float o’er the clouds
Or fish swim in the sea
My heart and soul shall rest here, proud
For all eternity
Because of the support you’ve shared
I hold a sense of pride
Knowing how much you truly cared
That I am by your side.

Whenever light peers through the pines
Or autumn colors gleam
I’ll find the strength to rise and shine
Beneath each sun-filled beam
Thanks to the warmth and harmony
That you always provide
I know it is my legacy
To stay here by your side.
