By what the written word provides,
To those who have so long desired
The peacefulness of ocean tides.

Respect for nature can be taught,
The peacefulness of ocean tides
Within each hardbound novel bought.

Where words embrace, despite one’s age,
Within each hardbound novel bought
Thanks to the lessons on the page.

Literature will be forevermore,

A blessing certain to endure.
