A poem about the beauty of a rainbow and the aura of our dreams.

Sunday, June 4, 2006

Poem Artwork

When rainfall fades to skies of blue
A ray of light appears
To show our world, the threat is through
Thus, ceasing all our fears
An arc of hope, the rainbow grows
More beautiful in time –
To bless the heart and soul of those
Needing a gift, sublime.

The rainbow guides us to a place
Where destiny is found
A site established in the grace
Of Heaven’s hallowed ground
To show us that our lives are rare
Yet, worthy of great things
If we trust in the power of prayer
And what His goodness brings.

When sunny days are born from gloom
A sacred light appears
To cast aside the clouds that loom
Over our new frontiers
An arc of peace, the rainbow stands
And evermore shall gleam
A special gift of tinted bands
Upon our cherished dreams.

Yet another stunning beauty from your golden quill, Jill. If there is a place, in this time space in which we reside, for "pretty" poetry, you surely will reign as Queen.
Take care,
Sherry

Amen to:
"If we trust in the power of prayer and what His goodness brings"

Your life Jill is a testament to that!

Beautiful, thought-provoking, and consistent as always.

Smiles
Richard
