A sweet little love poem.

Poem Artwork

The sun rises at daylight
And sets when the evening falls
The stars shine in the twilight
Casting shadows on the walls
Some birds fly for safe haven
From the brutal winter land
Some imagery is graven
So its meaning shall withstand.

The moon appears in phases
Correlating with the sea
Two strangers exchange gazes
That lead to their destiny
A rose blooms in the springtime
In beauty, always dear
While the tune of the wind chime
Plays a melody of cheer.

The sand is warmed by sunshine
That grows stronger, hour by hour
Each moment is by design
One beheld within our power
The tide will flow upon the shore
And time will set us free
For like the blessings we adore
Our love is meant to be.

Oh how sweet it is! But beyond it's sweetness is the knowledge that love trancends all and "Each moment is by design/One held within our power..." A true beauty, Jill!
