A seed implanted in my heart
The moment that we met
And though, we must remain apart
Your soul I won’t forget
The passion that you hold within
Ignites a special flare
That brightly burns beneath my skin
To prove how much I care.

You are a joy to those you meet
Your laughter lights the sky
Your soul is kind; your heart is sweet
Just like a lullaby
Your talent rises on the wind
And lands where dreams persist
You are a special kind of friend
Though love cannot exist.

A seed implanted in my heart
Where love had never dwelled
And I knew from the very start
The gift that I beheld
Although, we cannot live as one
This vow I’ll make to thee
Forevermore, ‘til life is done
You’ll steal the breath from me.
