Upon the Lord’s hallowed and glorious ground
Resides a location where heroes are found
Each servant, an angel, who answered his call
To make the world safer for one and for all
These servants were special, dedicated and strong
Assisting our region to right worldly wrong
Their tasks were uncertain; their struggles were grand
But, each helped our nation by taking a stand.

These servants were given a predestined goal
To protect the interests of each earthen soul
While upholding peace and the laws of the land
As sent forth from Heaven by God’s own command
Each knew that their mission held peril and grief
From which there would often be little relief
And still, they trudged forward; one purpose in mind
To make this day better than each left behind.

Within the Lord’s hallowed and glorious home
Resides a location where true heroes roam
Each servant, an angel, who answered his call
Defending our freedom by taking a fall
These servants were special, committed and brave
And their sense of honor lives beyond the grave
To this world, they were brothers and God’s chosen few
Yet, their selfless acts prove they were angels in blue.
