The dawn was not as elegant
The night was much too dim
The sea was far from eloquent
The moon was such a whim
The cherubs’ harps could not compete
With your angelic heart
Your love has made my life complete
Right from the very start.
The golden sand was not as pure
The air was not as still
The rainbow had lessened allure
The snow had lost its chill
The deepest canyon could not gauge
All that you mean to me
For as time turns another page
Our love shall always be.
The mountain peaks were not as high
The valleys were too low
To prove the reasons how and why
I’ve come to love you so
I could travel from pole to pole
This much would remain true
I’ll never find another soul
As beautiful as you!

Michelle~
It tells of feelings spent.
It speaks of wonders we would not know
if down loves road we fail to go.
Wonderful poem.
