Poem Artwork

The gifts you share and freely give
Directly from your soul
Will carry you, each day you live
As you strive toward each goal
So, close your eyes and say a prayer
For dreams, still far from view
And soon, you’ll find them waiting there
As faith returns to you.

The joyfulness found deep inside
When you give of yourself
Provides a humble sense of pride
Not reached by fame or wealth
The simple tasks that you embrace
Show beauty at its best
Since every life touched by your grace
Becomes someone, well blessed.

Your selflessness has been the key
Which aided those in need
The pages of your legacy
Will be marked by your creed
The gifts that you kindly afford
Know not of ties that bind
Therefore, be sure your life’s reward
Shall not be far behind.

Jill, to me, my life is made whole if I can but offer a smile, a kind word, a helping hand to another...I appreciate this poem so much because the world will survive if we reach out a hand to another person.
