My gratitude goes far beyond
The present time and place
As I have been forever fond
Of your poise and your grace
You’ve always been a source of strength
A beacon ‘cross the sea
Willing to travel any length
To restore faith in me.

When hope seemed to be all but lost
You pointed towards the sun
You showed me whate’er the cost
The battle could be won
Therefore, as in my soul’s rebirth
My gratitude shall rise
I am grateful God sent to earth
Someone so kind and wise.

Although, my thanks may not been seen
By eyes, beyond your own
I am stronger than I have been
Due to the warmth you’ve shown
So, I will take this time to share
And let gratitude flow
I am thankful, you chose to care
Much more than you could know.
