Poem Artwork

If ever should there come a time
When faith is wearing thin
And each task brings an uphill climb
You fear you’ll never win
Please reach for me and I’ll be there
Just waiting by your side
To ease each load you’re forced to bear
As your friend and your guide.

If ever should there come a day
When clouds and rain prevail
Please reach for me; I’ll lead the way
Until your heart sets sail
I’ll provide comfort to your soul
Should the smile leave your face
Then, help you to achieve each goal
Your heart hungers to chase.

If ever should there come an hour
When you have had enough
Please let your inner strength empower
Your soul, when days are tough
Your life will be even more blessed
In the years, still to be
If you vow to surpass each test
And humbly, reach for me.
