You are quite a blessing, so precious and rare
You show us each day the extent that you care
You give more to others than save for yourself
Your soul is abundant in goodness and wealth
You never ask others to shoulder your load
You always believe you have all you are owed
For this, I respect you; you are such a gem
I hope that your spirit shall not ever dim.

You wake in the morning, grateful for the sun
You pray in the evening, when the day is done
You seldom express any anguish or pain
Your life is a treasure, never lived in vain
You give thanks to God; with His strength you have grown
You tender the seeds your existence has sown
For this, I commend you; your modesty reigns
I hope your humility shall never wane.

You are strong in courage; your kindness is real
You say what you mean and convey how you feel
You never relinquish when hours are tough
Even when your soul feels that you have had enough
You rise to each challenge, howe’er great or small
And when each is finished, you are standing tall
For this, I applaud you; you’re prudent and smart
I hope this world learns from your beautiful heart.
