In memory of Marvin Zindler
1921 ~ 2007

For years, ‘cross the airwaves, a legend did roam
But now, Marvin Zindler has made his way Home,
An icon who strove to make this world bright
Has dusted his wings and flown toward the light.

Our region is mourning; our hearts feel the pain
But, Marvin’s life was one never lived in vain,
His strong sense of good became his legacy
And what we’ll remember in his memory.

The airwaves are dimmer; they’ll be evermore
A true Houston marvel has reached Heaven's Door,
Our thanks to you, Marvin; our lives you have blessed
Rest always in peace; you were truly the best.
