As long as we’re able to wish on a star
No dream is too lofty, too big or too far
The goals we acknowledge are goals we achieve
If only our hearts take the time to believe
Each dream found within us is steadfast and strong
Maintaining our focus should right become wrong
Providing our goals always stay in our sight
Our lives will be better and filled with delight.

Some goals are certain from the dawn of time
Sure to touch the heart, once reaching their prime
Others give no warning, when sent ‘cross the sky
To brighten our lives without a reason why
These unforeseen dreams are treasured and dear
Each one is a gift, we will always revere
As a touch of Heaven, sent earthbound to grow
Lovelier than we thought we would ever know.

As long as we can reach for milestones in life
Our days will be without long moments of strife
If our dreams are present in our hearts and minds
We’ll look to the future, each time sorrow blinds
No greater endowment could ever exist
Than when goals are given the chance to persist
For with much persistence, much patience, and grace
Our dreams will be destined to fall into place.
