A selfless man of valor; a hero, tried and true ,
He vowed to serve the public, until his life was through;
A servant sent from Heaven to uphold laws and peace,
Now, flies amid the angels, on billowed clouds of fleece.

He loved to work the freeways; his calling was the road,
A deputy on motorbike, his dedication showed;
Eight years spent in his precinct, he gave the job his all,
He was a loyal veteran who, sadly, took a fall.

Devoted to his family and the force, from the start,
A friend to those who knew him; he had a loving heart.
He held a special passion for helping those in need;
His life will be remembered, through memories of his creed.

A selfless man of valor, now rests beside the moon;
He was, indeed, a hero, who left this world too soon.
Jason Norling held compassion for all walks of mankind,
And, we will keep his legacy, forever in our minds.
