I think of you, both night and day
But, never have the words to say
How glad I am that you’re a part
Of the goodness found in my heart
You are a glimpse of spring in fall
The beauty that surrounds us all
The answer to a dream come true
I love the things you say and do.

You write the words I can’t express
And always know how to impress
Sometimes, you take my breath away
But, in my heart, you’ll always stay
You are the wind that keeps me cool
The sight which proves I am a fool
For never showing you, my love
That no one could tower above.

You hold the world within your palm
You offer a sweet sense of calm
When I am sad, you shine a light
A hope-filled beacon, burning bright
You are the greatest friend I’ve found
I miss you when you’re not around
Your heart is wise; your soul is true
My life is blessed because of you.
