I see you so clearly, though you’re far away
You’re right there beside me, each and every day
You listen with frankness and welcome with love
You are a companion God sent from above
Although our lives leave us, many miles apart
You are always present, deep inside my heart
And there, I will promise that you’ll always be
Because your support means the whole world to me.

I see you so clearly, through the highs and lows
We lean on each other whene’er sadness grows
Together, we’ve always conquered every storm
In ways that have often gone against the norm
Yet, through every moment and tear we have shed
Our hearts have stayed focused on the days ahead
As long as we’ve traveled, two friends with one goal
We’ve maintained our headings, in spite of the toll.

I see you so clearly and I always will
My friend, you will linger in my heart until
The final sun sets upon my final day
No hardship or burden could cause me to stray
You’ve been ever faithful, committed and wise
A gift that I treasure, here before my eyes
Although, our two lives may not always be near
The pathway between us shall be crystal clear.
