You offer more love than I know I could give
You make the most of every day that you live
Because of you, I know that I am much stronger
You help me to conquer the world for much longer
With you, every battle I am forced to bear
Seems lessened, thanks to the mere fact that you care
You give sound advice, which allows me to cope
Indeed, you are special; my beacon of hope.

You see through the storms and always find the sun
You trust every hardship can be fought and won
You never lose faith in life’s path to success
Even if, sometimes, you must settle for less
You are someone who can mend a broken heart
A gift that will evermore set you apart
You’re never too busy; you are always kind
No true r a soul could someone ever find.

You offer more love than I know I could give
Yet, I promise you, for as long as I live
I’ll always be grateful our paths chose to cross
Because, without you, I would be at a loss
The days would fall short of sheer brilliance and worth
If I had to spend just one hour upon earth
Without you, my beacon; my life’s shining star
I will always love you, just the way you are!
