Pink is a color of beauty and grace
The shade we see in a newborn child’s face
A beautiful hue found in the sky above
And the perfect symbol of friendship and love
Pink flowers can lead to a sad person’s smile
Pink ribbons can grant hope, across every mile
One color can soothe our hearts, more than we think
Soft and empowering is the color pink.

Blue is a color of freedom and worth
Its representation found throughout the earth
Whether backing the clouds or outlining the seas
Blue conquers the world, with the greatest of ease
Sometimes tied to sadness, blue can lead to doubt
But where would we be, if the earth went without
The brilliance found in the color’s common hues
Certainly, we’d suffer from a lack of blues.

Pink is a color of wisdom and trust
Blue is a shade that is rich and robust
Pink speaks to women, while blue speaks to men
Both go together like Barbie and Ken
One without the other would seem out of sync
Just as men need women, we need blue and pink
These colors combine to make the ideal pair
And I am quite grateful both colors are there.
