A beautiful angel was taken too soon
Now, her spirit soars with the sun and the moon
She came to the earth to bless us with her smile
Yet, we did not realize she’d stay, just awhile
The angel whose eyes could melt the strongest soul
Now, resides in Heaven; yet, left us one goal
To carry her memory in our hearts, each day
So her love shall thrive, though she has gone away.

The little girl had a pure angelic face
And, to the world, she became our “Baby Grace”
Though, we never met when she was full of life
Her loss touched our region and cut like a knife
In death, this sweet child taught us all how to love
And now, as she smiles from her Home, high above
We gather together to mourn and to grieve
For a precious child who was too young to leave.

A beautiful angel has been laid to rest
Yet, her love still lingers in the lives she blessed
Though, her life was short, she helped us to see
The kind-hearted child she had come to be
For this little angel, her work is now done
Once more, she resides with the moon and the sun
But, down here on earth, we’ll continue her plan
By showing the world the heart of Riley Ann.
