A beautiful sunrise in warm pastel hue
The dawn of another beginning with you
The chill in the air upon a winter’s morn
Reminding me of the time our love was born
The trees are still barren; the ground, cool to touch
Yet, this makes me realize I need you so much
Without you, these days would be bitter and cold
Your love is a gem I am grateful to hold.

A stroll on the beach; just we, two, holding hands
Then, cuddling together on the golden sands
As the ocean foam wraps us in its embrace
While we become lost in the moment and place
Watching sappy movies ‘til the hour is late
Just as we had done on our very first date
These sweet, simple moments are more than ideal
As a definition for the love I feel.

A memorable dinner with candles aglow
A dance ‘neath the moonlight, so peaceful and slow
The twinkling stars shining over the sea
As if they were smiling upon you and me
The gentleness found within our kiss goodbye
The music echoing across the night sky
So soft and melodic are love’s interludes
Expressing our need for these romantic moods.
