A poem about finding love.

Sunday, March 16, 2008

Poem Artwork

The hardest part is over
The time to cry is through
I’m bound for fields of clover
Now that I’m here with you
The days of loss are finished
The search for hope has passed
My fears have been diminished
I have found love at last.

No more will my mind wander
Nevermore will I stray
I’ve no more need to ponder
If love will ever stay
You are my morning sunlight
My precious breath of spring
The joy we share seems so right
You cause my heart to sing.

You guide my soul through darkness
You’re my strength, should I fall
You’ve stood by me so faithfully
You’ve cared throughout it all
The hardest part is over
The future has begun
I’m bound for fields of clover
With you, my darling one.

Ah, if babies could write about what they think of their little Teddy bears, it would be as you have described in your wonderful poem. I love the pic.

Did you write that for me to give my husband Jill? Just kidding. What a lovely poem, and reflective of many people's feelings when they finally find true love. Job well done.

be well and happy,
Kathy
