A precious daisy blooms to welcome spring
‘twas just a seed not many months ago
Found in a field where tender bluebirds sing
As time goes on, her worth will surely grow
Beneath the sun whose rays shine of pure gold
The daisy proudly stands for all to see
Instilling more than beauty to behold
But love that shall live for eternity
 
The daisy rises in the field alone
Yet, views the world as filled with loving care
Resiliency is what her blooms have shone
Withstanding the harshness the cold can bear
For while spring air is born from winter’s chill
The flower’s pledge for love in spring lives still

The daisy is a hardy flower, the first one thinks of in summer love.
