You are my rock, sturdy and strong
You love, whether I’m right or wrong
You listen when the night is long
You are just like my favorite song
I heard your tune, right from the start
Your melody is in my heart
Although, right now, we are apart
From you, I could never depart.
 
You roll through life’s punches with grace
You know dreams have a time and place
In your own way, you are an ace
I see it on your smiling face
You’d anchor me, if I should fall
Because of you, I’m standing tall
There is no one else I would call
When I’m with you, I have it all.
 
You are my rock, if miles away
You help me to laugh every day
You are my light when skies are gray
From your heart, I could never stray
For many years, you have been there
You have proven how much you care
There is nothing that could compare
To the outstanding love we share.

Jill, this poem demonstrates a love that "no" one could take away from you or your brother. It's a love that stands strong regardless of the winds that come against it. Great!

That kind of love is rare and should be treasured and never taken for granted but I know Jill your heart is so full of love for your man that you will never do that.
