My dearest Mother, I’m glad you are near
You form the foundation for hope and grace
You’ve made each worry I’ve had disappear
With your kind soul and the smile on your face
Whether you’re home or share love from afar
I have never doubted I am number one
On this Mother’s Day, Mom, you are the star
May your special times shine brighter than the sun.

Mom, I hope the morning brings you calm and peace
So, you may find the needed time to rest
Then, as you arise beneath soft clouds of fleece
I hope that your day will be richly blessed
More blessed than the ways you have touched my heart
Throughout the years I have seen since my birth
Your sweet nature is what sets you apart
You are, indeed, a gift God sent to earth.

My dearest Mother, on your special day
I want you to know I’m glad you are mine
Each night I’m thankful, when I stop to pray
That you’re in my life, though words can’t define
How your noble efforts mean a great deal –
You can mend a wound with one touch from your palm
I hope each hour of your day will reveal
Countless memories as cherished as you are, Mom.

Jill, I am so glad to hear your words of love, gratitude and appreciation toward your mother. As a daughter, I often wonder if my mother knew just how much I thought of her. As a mother I wonder if I was good enough, wise enough, strong enough, but my daughter always lets me know I was loving enough. It is so important that we all communicate our love and appreciation while we can. Good for you.
Kathy

Soothing words filled with utter adoration for one so deserving of your love and praise. In her footsteps you shall follow and the stars above will shine even brighter on the days ahead, very endearing...

Be always safe,
Karen

Jill, both my boys are older than you and I can feel the love through this poem. This got my smile going. Thanks.
