Poem Artwork

Gone are the days of remorse and regret
Gone are the memories we could not forget
Gone are the theories and shadows of doubt
Gone are the times when there was no way out
Gone are the spaces where love had seemed blind
Gone are the memories we’ve left far behind
Now, there is nothing besides what can be
A lifetime of love shared between you and me.

Gone are the skies with dark clouds taking aim
Gone are the bitter hours assigning blame
Gone are the tears that once poured like rivers
Gone are the grievances life oft delivers
Gone are the moments we have spent alone
Without anyone we could call our own
Now, we’ve each other, luck is on our side
As we travel onward, we'll take things in stride.

Gone are the images once marred by tears
Gone are the lost and solitary years
Gone are the feelings of lacking self-worth
Gone are the storms that encompassed the earth
Gone are the worries of reaching old age
Without finding love, somewhere along life’s stage
Now we are together; loss reigns nevermore
We will love forever; of this I am sure.

Gone, as we live longer more and more thing will be gone, on our birth, our heart should had been equiped with a memory chip and a brain capable to recall vividly all those images, feelings, forgetfulness...

I think you are in for a lovely ride from beginning to end with lots of ups and downs along the way. The good and the bad though are worth the price you pay to have love whether it be for a few months or a lifetime...it is to be treasured

Frankly, my dear, this one's not Gone With the Wind, but touches the heart.

Beautiful butterfly my own kind of butterfly I love to see. Reminds me of Tom and me together but he is dead. I miss him so and wish our life could be like this life in the poem and we'd be together as you two are. It is me now waiting to go to him when time is right. Oh, when will that be. This poem is so beautiful.
