You are the light that brightens each day
The sun and the moon and the stars
You can chase every cloud that gets in your way
Just by being the kind heart you are
You bring joy to darkness; new hope to each storm
Wherever in this life you roam
Your smile is infectious; your spirit is warm
Your soul is a place to call home

Your giggles bring comfort; your tears tug my heart
And yet, every moment you breathe
You will always be with me; you have from the start
Our bond gives me strength to believe
There’s good in this world; this crazy old world
You show me each and every hour
There’s strength deep within me and with arms unfurled
You silently give me the power

With love that’s unmeasurable, my sweet girl, you’re mine
From now and until eternity
So keep on believing, keep growing and shine
And be everything you can be
Because you’re the light that brightens each day
You can do everything and then more
I know you will always be special this way
Be humble, be grateful, explore

I’ll always be with you, through good times and not
Through thick and through thin in this life
Throughout every lesson that you must be taught
I’ll guide you in joy and in strife
My girl, rest assured, you’re never alone
As you grow and decide what shall be
Each step of the way, as you make life your own
You’ll always find comfort with me

You’re my sun and my moon; my bright guiding light
Leading me every step of life’s path
You often remind me it’ll all be alright
Each time I hear your silly laugh
If there’s one thing for certain, each step of the way
From now until infinity
I’ll love you forever, as much as today
My baby girl, you’ll always be
