My son, daughter, and I sat around one day and put this little ditty together. I wrote music for it as well.

Let me tell you a secret One I think you should know There are ghosts in the basement Moses told me so If you don't believe me Go and see for yourself You had better believe me Or I'll bite and scratch you now so One lives under the stairway Moses says it's the one Who grabs onto my ankles When up the stairs as I run Let me tell you a secret One I think you should know There are ghosts in the basement Moses told me so Jane Noponen Perinacci

Children love their fantasies, Moses told me so. My younger brothers had Blackie, followed by Peanuts [Butter], and later, Butterscotch, all destined to surprise you in the basement.

since childhood fears can be heightened by
