What goes around comes around.

Roaming specter Cold and damned Gliding lifeless O'er the land From the cliffs fell To the rocks Dressed in white on Doors she knocks Town tormentors Thought her vile But 'twas them who Did beguile On one eve of Full blood moon The cliffs beckoned Town folk swooned To the edge fools That they were One by one they Fell like her Waves that crashed As on that night Where they drove her Mad with fright Water's calm now Wind is still Moon turned white and Town is still Jane Noponen Perinacci �

Haunting. Was stillness a sign of quiet(ing) realization - as I hope it is? Or of emptiness - in which case your next poem will be an empty page. In my heart I'm sure it will no and your next will be full, as always.

My kind of horror story! Beautifully rhymed into the night with a wronged maiden out to frighten those who wronged her. Cool, like the early morning mist.

This is a a wonderful atmospheric piece Jane,,,I am reminded of Emily Bronte's Kathy in Wutheting Heights...(I live not far from the Bronte's Parsonage in Haworth..)
The atmosphere you have created is fantastic...
