Poem Artwork

My own house has locked me out again, against my will, stifling my cause. Everything in me I hold dear is tied and gagged, shoved into a corner and pushed back, out of play... Everything I feel for, fight for, and bleed for is smothered under tear-soaked blankets, along with my insurmountable doubt.

So I'll turn the music up loud!  Maybe I'll swallow another pill, have another drink, try to forget... Maybe I'll push the play button on pause while the gravity of life pile-drives me... down and downer. Maybe I'll try and unwrap this worldly gauze and finally be free !!!

If this is personal, it is disturbing because I see no positive effort to change things in it.

An enigma, gravity. Gravid, riddled and disconcerting. Like this piece, Bob. Nice work.
